Clipping Mask
Clipping mask allows you to limit the effect to the underlying layer. It can be used for several purposes. A most common use is to limit the adjustment layer effect to a particular layer. Also, it can be used to limit the above layer to the underlying layer shape. In the below layer, the layer2 is the clipped layer.
Shortcut key for clipping mask — Alt+left click (move your cursor to between of two-layer then you will see clipping mask symbol then click)
